Early Childhood Teacher

About the role :

Oxanda Child Care is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join Bluebird Roseville, a purpose-built early education service located in Roseville, NSW. Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, implement, and evaluate play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Monitor and document children’s learning, development, and progress through observations and portfolios
• Support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Promote language development through stories, songs, and engaging learning experiences
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic learning environment
• Conduct safety checks and ensure equipment meets safety requirements
• Build respectful partnerships with families and provide updates on children’s development
• Mentor and supervise educators while providing pedagogical leadership
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF)
• Support children through daily routines including meals, rest times, and toileting

Qualifications and experience :

• Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
• NSW teacher registration for full-time Early Childhood Teacher position
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Early Childhood Teacher role within an early learning centre
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Current First Aid certificate including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training or willingness to obtain
• Current Mandatory Reporting and Child Protection certificates or willingness to obtain
• Current Safe Sleep and Food Handling certificates or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience working in an Early Childhood setting
• Passionate about delivering exceeding early education and care
