Early Childhood Educator

Randstad Education is seeking experienced Diploma and Certificate level educators, as well as individuals beginning their early childhood education career with a minimum Certificate III qualification. Casual Early Years roles are available across Sydney’s Inner West, including Marrickville, Leichhardt, Annandale, Earlwood, and surrounding suburbs.

The role provides flexibility for educators to manage their own schedules through the Randstad app while receiving support throughout their career journey and casual working experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement quality, engaging, and activity-based learning programs
• Support children’s learning and development through play-based experiences
• Create safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments for children
• Apply Early Learning Framework principles in educational practices
• Support daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and educators
• Maintain child safeguarding practices and mandatory reporting responsibilities
• Follow workplace health, safety, and compliance requirements

Qualifications and experience :

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Early Childhood Teachers must be willing to obtain relevant state-based teacher registration
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to obtain a state-based Working with Children Check and Food Handling Certificate
• Commitment to child safeguarding and understanding of mandatory reporting responsibilities
• Willingness to complete National Child Safety Training
• Ability to provide two recent professional referees who have managed previous childcare work performance
