Education Leader

Busy Bees at Burpengary East is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to lead daily learning programs, support educators, and create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can thrive. This role provides an opportunity to develop leadership skills within a supportive early learning organisation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the planning and implementation of high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF
• Mentor and support educators within the room
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
• Support children’s development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through play-based experiences
• Promote child safety practices and uphold Busy Bees values

Qualifications and experience :

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Current QLD Working with Children Check
• Experience leading a room within an early learning environment
• Strong understanding of EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to child safety and quality early childhood education
