Early Childhood Educator

Child Care Workers provide care and supervision for children in programs such as long day care and occasional care within childcare centres, hospitals, and educational centres.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities.
• Manage children's behaviour and guide children's social development.
• Prepare and conduct activities for children.
• Entertain children by reading and playing games.
• Supervise children during recreational activities.
• Supervise the daily routine of children.
• Supervise children's hygiene.

Skills Required :

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise, set goals, and demonstrate determination to achieve them.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

Salary :

• $75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.
