Key Responsibilities :

• Implement educational programs and practice.
• Ensure children's health and safety.
• Maintain a safe physical environment.
• Attend staff meetings, demonstrate code of conduct and ethics with all stakeholders, and participate in ongoing professional development training.
• Form and nurture strong relationships with children, implement behaviour management strategies, and maintain the dignity and rights of each child.
• Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with families and communities.
• Demonstrate governance and leadership through contributions to the philosophy, goals, and activities of the centres.

Skills and Experience :

• Ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Industry experience as a Room Leader is desirable, although not necessary, with a willingness to advance your career through ongoing training and mentoring.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to be trained.
• Ability to lead and mentor fellow team members.

Qualifications and Experience :

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and willingness to study.
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Early Childhood or Primary Teaching Degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience is essential for the role.
