About the Position :
The Childcare Worker plays a vital role at Empowered Early Learning Academy by providing attentive, high-quality care and educational support to children aged 0–5 years. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to creating a positive daily experience that promotes children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times. This position is essential to maintaining the centre’s reputation for excellence in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children’s education and recreational activities
- Managing children’s behaviour and guiding children’s social development
- Preparing and conducting activities for children
- Entertaining children by reading and playing games
- Supervising children in recreational activities
- Supervising the daily routine of children
- Supervising the hygiene of children.
Requirements :
- Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong technical skills in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing environment and respond thoughtfully to children’s individual needs
- Passion for early childhood development and commitment to child safety and inclusive practices.
