Education Leader

About this role :

Treetop Early Learning Pascoe Vale is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Educator to join its team. The centre follows the Reggio Emilia approach, focusing on intentional teaching that nurtures children’s curiosity, creativity, and active participation in learning.

Key responsibilities :

• Inspire and mentor educators to deliver a rich, child-led curriculum
• Collaborate with the team to create engaging indoor and outdoor play spaces
• Guide reflective practice and drive continuous improvement
• Support a culture of accountability, inclusion, and professional development
• Contribute to centre leadership, long-term growth, and succession planning
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and team members
• Lead and enhance the educational program across the centre
• Ensure compliance with National Law and Regulations
• Participate in orientation and family engagement practices
• Ensure each child’s learning journey is intentional, documented, and celebrated.

About you :

• Genuine passion for working with children and strong commitment to their well-being and development
• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in curriculum programming and educational leadership
• Creativity, patience, and nurturing approach to childcare
• Valid Working with Children Check and Mandatory Reporting
• First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Salary : $79,500 per year

Schedule : Monday to Friday
