The role :

• Cook delicious, healthy and nutritionally balanced meals using Nido menus.
• Purchase food and supplies for the kitchen.
• Ensure dietary and allergy requirements and restrictions for every child are supported through risk minimisation and communication plans.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.

What you’ll bring :

• Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery (desirable).
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (required).
• Experience working in a childcare or aged care setting.
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
• Ability to complete or provide National Child Safety Training (Geccko).
