The Role :
This senior leadership position provides educational leadership, training, mentoring, and quality assurance across multiple campuses. The role supports curriculum improvement, educator development, and compliance with Montessori philosophy and national frameworks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead professional development, coaching, and mentoring across centres
- Conduct regular centre visits (travel required)
- Deliver occasional after-hours training sessions
- Support centres in Assessment and Rating preparation
- Train educators in Montessori curriculum implementation
- Guide programming, documentation, assessment, and evaluation
- Support inclusive education and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct educational audits and contribute to Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs)
- Identify improvement trends, risks, and opportunities
- Promote child-safe and high-quality learning environments
- Provide reports and recommendations to Head of Quality and Safety.
About You :
- Montessori Diploma or equivalent
- Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Minimum 3 years experience in Room Leader or above
- Strong knowledge of Montessori philosophy and materials
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in curriculum development and staff training
- Strong understanding of NQF and EYLF
- Current Working With Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification
- Child Protection training
- Passion for child development and quality education.
