About the Role :

The Marketing and Community Coordinator supports marketing campaigns, social media content, events, community engagement initiatives and brand projects across Montessori Academy. This is a hands-on, varied role within a fast-paced in-house marketing team, working closely with centre leaders, educators, leadership teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Social Media and Content Creation

  • Film and capture social media content across campuses (Reels, interviews, events, day-in-the-life content)
  • Assist with social media planning, scheduling and engagement
  • Support content creation aligned with brand identity
  • Coordinate photography and videography shoots

Marketing and Campaign Coordination

  • Support delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social and community channels
  • Assist with campaign coordination across more than 70 campuses
  • Support reporting, performance tracking and marketing administration

Community and Event Engagement

  • Coordinate community events, expos, grand openings, conferences and family engagement initiatives
  • Assist with event logistics, supplier coordination and on-the-day delivery
  • Represent the organisation at events and community initiatives
  • Support occasional weekend events

Stakeholder and Brand Experience

  • Build relationships with Centre Managers, educators and leadership teams
  • Support consistent brand experience across all touchpoints
  • Collaborate across operations, customer experience and education teams

Digital and Website Support

  • Update website content using WordPress CMS
  • Assist with EDMs, newsletters, blogs and promotional materials
  • Support content and design work using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

About You :

  • Approximately 3+ years experience in marketing, communications, content or brand coordination
  • Strong interest in early childhood education and community engagement
  • Experience creating and filming social media content
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple projects
  • High attention to detail and brand consistency
  • Experience with social media platforms, Canva and CMS tools
  • Education, childcare, retail or hospitality experience highly regarded
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and access to vehicle
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
