Educator Room Leader

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of your assigned room
• Plan and implement engaging educational activities
• Support the developmental needs of children under your care
• Lead and supervise a team of educators to ensure high quality care and education
• Develop, implement, and evaluate age appropriate educational programs and activities
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
• Provide guidance and support to educators, including mentorship and professional development
• Monitor and track children’s progress and developmental milestones
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress and wellbeing.

Required Qualifications and Experience :

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year full time experience in a similar role, preferably leading a team
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Passion for early childhood education and child development.

Salary: $75,000 – $78,000 per annum + superannuation
