Early Childhood Teacher

Whispering Gully Childcare is a purpose built 92 place centre in the heart of the Snowy Mountains, seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our growing team. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead and deliver high quality educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS). This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT looking to combine professional fulfilment with an active regional lifestyle. With an annual salary range from $86,000 – $111,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and implement educational programs that align with the EYLF and NQS
• Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of individual learning plans
• Communicate effectively with families and provide regular updates on their child's progress
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and centre events.

Criteria :

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-assessed equivalent) with current NSW Teacher Registration (NESA)
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• First Aid Certificate
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
• Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing high-quality educational programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their wellbeing
• An understanding or interest in Steiner education is highly desirable.
