Juniors Journey Early Education – Mildura

We are seeking a passionate Childcare Group Leader to lead the daily operations of a designated room within a professional early childhood environment. You will support children’s learning and development through structured educational programs while fostering meaningful relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider community. This role offers strong leadership support and opportunities for professional growth within a brand-new purpose-built centre.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
• Lead the daily operations of your allocated room in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment
• Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs aligned with the EYLF
• Observe, assess, and document children’s learning, development, and progress
• Mentor and support educators within the room to maintain high-quality practices
• Deliver structured routines and age-appropriate learning experiences
• Maintain clean, organised, and stimulating learning environments
• Work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team and educators
• Build strong and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. 

Qualifications and Skills :

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
• Minimum 1 year experience in a regulated early childhood setting
• Experience contributing to educational programming and documentation
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles
• Valid Working with Children Check (VIC)
• Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (ACECQA approved)
• Child Protection Training
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
