We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Educators who are passionate about children’s learning, development, and care. This role focuses on supporting children to explore, discover, and lead their own learning journey within a play-based early childhood environment. You will work in a supportive centre that values professional growth, teamwork, and strong relationships with families and the wider community.

Responsibilities :

  • Support children to explore, learn, and develop independence through play-based experiences
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and families to support learning outcomes
  • Create engaging and meaningful learning environments that encourage curiosity and discovery
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and educators to deliver high-quality programs
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
  • Participate in programming, planning, and reflective practice
  • Ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and development are consistently supported
  • Work in alignment with early childhood frameworks and centre philosophy.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards / ACECQA equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Lead Educator
  • Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for early childhood education and continuous professional growth
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
