Education Leader

Blakeview, Adelaide, SA

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Educators to join a brand new, purpose-built 108-place long day care centre in Blakeview. This role involves supporting and/or leading the implementation of high-quality early childhood programs within a culturally rich and growing community. Educators will contribute to a collaborative environment focused on play-based learning, inclusion, and continuous improvement in line with EYLF and NQS.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead or support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of educational programs aligned with EYLF and NQS
  • Model high-quality pedagogy, inclusive practice, and play-based learning approaches
  • Mentor, coach, and support educators to strengthen practice and confidence
  • Facilitate reflective practice discussions and contribute to professional learning culture
  • Support compliance, documentation, assessment, and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and service development
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and external professionals
  • Support children’s wellbeing, inclusion, safety, and learning outcomes
  • Ensure learning environments are safe, engaging, and responsive to children’s needs
  • Participate in community engagement initiatives and strengthen local partnerships
  • Maintain daily operational and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Diploma or Early Childhood Degree (or working towards)
  • Minimum 1.5 years experience in early childhood education (for qualified roles)
  • Previous leadership or Educational Leader experience (for Lead roles)
  • Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Child Protection training completed
  • Valid Working with Children Check (non-volunteer)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to mentor, guide, and support educator practice
  • Professional, reliable, and solution-focused approach.
