Centre Manager / Director

Lead the daily operations of an early learning centre while building a strong, positive culture for educators, children, and families. You will manage compliance, staffing, quality standards, and community engagement while driving a high-performing and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the overall operations of the centre ensuring compliance with sector regulations and company policies
• Mentor, support, and motivate educators to deliver high-quality early learning programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families and the wider community
• Oversee staffing, rostering, and operational planning to ensure smooth centre performance
• Drive occupancy growth and maintain strong enrolment outcomes
• Champion quality improvement practices aligned with EYLF and NQS
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture
• Ensure financial and administrative responsibilities are managed effectively.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Centre Manager or Director role
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and relevant legislation
• Experience in staffing, rosters, budgets, and occupancy management
• Current Working With Children Check
• Child Protection certification and mandatory safety training
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
• Ability to build relationships and drive positive team culture.
