Cook / Nutritionist
Prepare and deliver nutritious, healthy meals for children in an early learning environment, ensuring all dietary needs and food safety standards are met. You will contribute to children’s wellbeing through high-quality meal planning, preparation, and kitchen management.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure meals are prepared safely, considering dietary requirements and allergies
- Plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
- Maintain high standards of hygiene in food storage, preparation, and handling
- Support the nutritional wellbeing of children through balanced meal provision
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant childcare cooking experience
- Understanding of dietary requirements and food safety standards
- Ability to plan menus and manage kitchen operations
- Current VIC Working With Children Check
- Good organisation and time management skills.
