Early Childhood Educator
Rumpus Room is seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators to join their Newcastle centres. In this role, you will support children’s development through meaningful learning experiences while building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and the broader centre community. You will work collaboratively with educators and leadership teams to deliver high-quality early childhood education programs.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community
- Support and guide teams in implementing innovative early learning programs
- Deliver programs aligned with current early childhood education practices and frameworks
- Document and share children’s learning and development with families
- Contribute to the implementation of the Guardian Curriculum
- Support children to become brave, curious, and imaginative learners
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and centre leadership teams
- Maintain safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environments.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Previous experience working in long day-care settings
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with children and families.
