Assistant Centre Director

Guardian Roseville is seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Centre Director to support the leadership and daily operations of the centre. In this role, you will work closely with the Centre Director and Leadership Team to create a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for children while mentoring educators and contributing to centre performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

• Support the Centre Leadership Team in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Build strong and meaningful relationships with families and the local community
• Assist in maintaining a high-quality culture focused on education, safety, and care
• Collaborate with educators and teachers to deliver innovative early learning programs
• Participate in workshops, meetings, and professional development initiatives
• Support decision-making related to educational resources and learning environments
• Contribute to centre operations, business performance, and continuous improvement strategies
• Promote Guardian’s values of being brave, positive, thoughtful, and professional.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Diploma in Children’s Services and/or Bachelor of Education or currently working towards one
• Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a long day-care setting
• Strong understanding and practical application of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Budgeting and financial accountability experience
• Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
