Centre Manager / Director

Guardian Thornhill Park is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead a brand-new early learning centre opening in late 2026. In this leadership role, you will oversee centre operations, inspire and mentor a high-performing team, and create a welcoming environment where children, educators, and families can thrive. You will be supported by specialist teams across curriculum, compliance, safety, facilities, and people management while driving exceptional outcomes for the centre and community.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and strengthen a positive and high-performing team culture
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre with strong leadership and accountability
• Deliver exceptional experiences for children and families within the local community
• Inspire, motivate, and support educators and team members to achieve their full potential
• Ensure high-quality educational programs and operational standards are maintained
• Build strong relationships with families and community stakeholders
• Drive occupancy, engagement, and continuous improvement outcomes
• Work collaboratively with specialist support teams across curriculum, compliance, safety, and people management.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Proven experience leading high-performing childcare or early learning centres
• Strong track record achieving Meeting or Exceeding outcomes under the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent leadership and team development skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with families and the local community
• Passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care
• Strong understanding of centre operations, compliance, and educational leadership
• Ability to create supportive and engaging learning environments for children and educators.
