Early Childhood Educator

Punchinello Early Learning Centre is a family-owned early learning service welcoming up to 33 children daily aged between 18 months and 6 years. The centre provides a calm, nurturing, and supportive environment with a highly experienced team, many of whom have been with the service for over 10 years. The recently renovated centre features spacious learning areas and a natural outdoor environment designed to support creativity, curiosity, and physical development.

Position Overview :

Punchinello Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Worker to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will support children’s learning and development through engaging play-based experiences while maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.

Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 18 months to 6 years
• Support children’s learning through play-based activities including arts, crafts, and storytelling
• Assist in planning and implementing educational programs aligned with early childhood learning frameworks
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children
• Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
• Work collaboratively with educators and maintain positive communication with families.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Previous experience working in a childcare or early learning environment
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates or willingness to obtain.

Employment Details :

• Permanent full-time position
• 38–40 hours per week
• Salary of $76,515 per annum.
