About the Role :
We are seeking a Diploma qualified childcare educator to join our team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality early childhood education programs, supporting children’s development, and contributing to a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and conduct a wide range of child-focused activities
- Supervise toileting, hygiene, and daily routines of children including recreational activities
- Assess and prepare materials and equipment for educational and recreational programs
- Engage children through reading, games, and interactive play
- Guide children’s social behaviour and development
- Record observations for compliance and developmental reporting for families.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards it)
- Experience working in a childcare centre
- Ability to build positive educator and parent relationships
- Understanding of EYLF, NQF, NQS, and relevant regulations
- Commitment to child safe policies and code of conduct
- Ability to pass required screening checks (reference, criminal, WWCC, social media checks).
