Position overview :

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader to join the team at Mini Masterminds Riverstone (Campbell Street). This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role where you will work closely with educators each day, leading by example and driving best practice in early education.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and inspire a team of educators through on-the-floor mentoring, collaboration, and support.
  • Model and guide best-practice early childhood education in daily routines and program implementation.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs that nurture each child’s growth, curiosity, and development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture focused on high-quality care and education.
  • Build strong relationships with families and the community, promoting involvement and Excels’ values.
  • Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing standards are consistently met and upheld.

Qualifications and skills :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • At least 6 months’ experience as an Educational Leader or in a leadership capacity
  • Strong ability to lead, mentor, and inspire educators on the floor
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Child Protection training/certificate
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and professional development.
