Education Leader
About the role
As a Lead Educator at Journey Tatura, you will take the lead in delivering high-quality education and care within your room. You’ll be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
Working alongside a supportive Centre Leadership Team, you will guide and mentor educators, lead curriculum planning, and ensure best practice is embedded into everyday learning experiences. This is a great opportunity for a confident educator ready to step into a leadership role or further develop their skills in a supportive, values-led environment.
Journey Tatura is a warm and community-focused centre catering to children aged six months to six years. The team values connection, collaboration, and high-quality care, working closely with families to support each child’s individual learning journey.
Requirements :
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-recognised equivalent
- Previous experience as a Lead Educator or strong experience as a Senior Educator
- Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and early childhood regulations
- Confident in programming, documentation, and assessment of children’s learning
- Supportive and collaborative approach to mentoring team members
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and First Aid Certificates.
