Early Childhood Teacher
About the role
Tall Tree Early Learning is on the lookout for vibrant and passionate Early Childhood Teacher / Room Leaders to join our dynamic team. As an Early Childhood Teacher / Room Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the room in our service. This is a key role in the leadership of the centre with an emphasis on creativity, reflection, and the ability to implement new ideas and use a range of strategies to continually improve the practices of the room. Providing the highest level of care and education is critical to this role.
Key responsibilities :
- Plan, implement, and evaluate programs through your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Lead a team of educators ensuring the highest quality of care is provided for children
- Create magic moments for children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development
- Motivate and support a team of educators to exceed quality expectations across curriculum and documentation
- Build a team-oriented approach by being open to different views, receptive to feedback, and reflective upon best practice
- Bring a friendly, mature, and professional approach to everything you do
- Ensure your room is safe, welcoming, and a space that children, educators, and parents want to be in.

Requirements :
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role
- Current Working with Children Check
- Full-time availability (Monday-Friday)
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain them
- Current Child Protection Training or willingness to undertake the course.
