OOSH Coordinator | Lead Our Out of School Hours Care Program

We are seeking an experienced and passionate OOSH Coordinator to lead our Umina Out of School Hours Care service and create a welcoming, engaging and high-quality program for school-aged children. This position involves is designated office hours working closely with the nominated supervisor and also being apart of ratio on the floor. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about children’s wellbeing, play-based learning, and building strong relationships with families, staff and the school community.

About the Role

As the OOSH Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service while leading a small team of educators. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, planning engaging programs and building a positive service culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the OOSH service
• Develop and implement engaging programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place framework
• Ensure compliance with National Quality Framework (NQF) and regulatory requirements
• Manage documentation, rosters and daily operations

About You

• Experienced in OOSH or School Aged Care
• Confident leader with the ability to motivate and support a team
• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
• Highly organised with strong communication skills
• Passionate about creating engaging programs for children

Essential Requirements

• Diploma in Children’s Services / Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
• Current Working With Children Check
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
• Previous experience working in OOSH / School Aged Care
• Leadership or Coordinator experience highly regarded
