The Centre
This exceeding-rated not-for-profit centre located in the beachside suburb of Ballina in the Northern Rivers region of NSW is seeking a passionate Centre Director to lead their wonderful team and quality long day care centre on a permanent full-time basis. With carefully designed learning environments and lush outdoor spaces including a veggie garden, this centre cares for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age across five rooms. This centre is conveniently located close to local shops, parking and the beach offering a wonderful leadership opportunity within a welcoming and established team.
The Role
- Motivate, support and work in partnership with staff and the leadership team to exceed national quality standards
- Manage the daily operations of the centre
- Have a thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) including the implementation of the National Law and National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), assessment and quality rating process and National Learning Frameworks including the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Liaising and creating partnerships with stakeholders, families and the local community
- Ensuring a high occupancy is maintained through marketing and community connections, in line with company values, and philosophy

About You
- A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Experience in a management or leadership role
- A current Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain
- Current first-aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- Experience regarding financial and operational management performance
