About us: Simply Sunshine is a community based not-for-profit organisation located in the town of Moranbah just a few short hours from the vast and beautiful coastline of Queensland. Our service provides care for 80 children per day in our long day care centre.

Simply Sunshine has been providing high quality care to the children and families of Moranbah for more than 30 years valuing the professionalism of all our educators in ways that make work fun!

Is this the role for you? We are seeking exceptional and enthusiastic individuals who are driven to provide quality education and care for children from birth to 6 years of age.

Our Lead Educator Extraordinaire will:

• Want to support children to explore, develop and grow through play
• Have respect for the capability of children and their interests in learning through their own view of the world
• Be an expert at forming relationships with families, children, Early Childhood professionals and the wider community that is built on trust and mutual respect
• Be looking for a workplace to call home; a work culture that feels like home. Be open to our unique way for programming and practice
• Be ready to implement contemporary evidence-informed pedagogy; and
• Be relentless in their pursuit for excellence for children.

PLUS meet the following essential requirements:

• An ACECQA-approved Diploma of Children’s Services (or higher)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
• Valid Working with Children's Check
• Be available to work Monday to Friday, up to 38 hours per week
• Be flexible to work all shifts the centre is open
• Bring a positive and inclusive attitude every day!
