Early Childhood Teacher
We are seeking Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs), Diploma Educators, and Certificate III Educators for casual early childhood education roles across multiple Sunshine Coast locations. This opportunity is suitable for both experienced educators and those beginning their early childhood career journey. You will support high-quality learning programs while enjoying flexible work arrangements and career support.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver engaging and activity-based early learning programs
- Support children’s development in safe and nurturing environments
- Implement learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Supervise and engage children during daily routines and activities
- Maintain strong child safeguarding and mandatory reporting practices
- Work collaboratively with centre teams and leadership staff
- Adapt to different centre environments and support operational needs
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Willingness to travel to different centre locations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to child safeguarding and safety practices
- Willingness to obtain relevant teacher registration (for ECT roles)
- Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to provide two recent professional childcare references.
