Early Childhood Educator
We are looking for an engaged, enthusiastic and professional lead educator ready to join our team and provide fun, laughter and positive leadership.
The role is up to 40 hours per week and you will be employed on a full time basis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead a classroom and ensure high-quality education and care for children
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and developmentally appropriate programs
- Mentor and support educators in reflective practice, curriculum documentation, and professional growth
- Build positive, collaborative relationships with children, families, and educators
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment for all children
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Skills and Experience Required :
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
- Experience leading a room, mentoring educators, and supporting curriculum planning preferred
- Strong understanding of NQF, NQS, and EYLF
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
- Australian work rights required.
A current Working with Children Check is required.
This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead a classroom while also supporting educational leadership practices across the centre.
The successful candidate will guide educators in curriculum planning, reflective practice, and EYLF implementation, while maintaining high-quality care aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF v2.0) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
