Task and responsibilities :

• Provide daily care and supervision of children in a regulated early learning environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs in accordance with centre programs
• Implement age-appropriate learning and play-based activities
• Assist in the delivery of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Ensure the health, safety, hygiene, and wellbeing of children at all times
• Observe, document, and report on children’s progress and behaviour
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children’s daily activities and development
• Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, centre policies, and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with educators and centre management to support centre operations.

Qualification and experience :

• Certificate III  in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
• Current Working With Children Check
• Approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in an early childhood education setting
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework (NQF)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and child wellbeing.
