As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality educational programs that support the holistic development of young children. Task and responsibilities :
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational activities and programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG)
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative and inclusive learning community
- Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development to inform individualized planning and ongoing improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards in early childhood education and care.
Qualification and Experience :
- Are qualified and experienced and naturally talented!
- Value strong and collaborative relationships with families and team members
- Skilled at creating a learning "vibe" in a classroom that is unhurried, peaceful and full of good energy
- A great communicator, able to chat openly and confidently with families
- Fired up by creating learning environments that are interesting, aesthetically engaging, with the primary focus on the love of learning
- Able to manage the operational side of the role well, and competent in documenting children's progress
- Mentor colleagues and share what makes you great!
If you're the person of our dreams there's a good chance you'll have :
- A completed Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an equivalent approved ACECQA early childhood teaching qualification (ECT)
- Current CPR and First Aid qualifications, including asthma and anaphylaxis
- Hold the relevant Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
- Completed and current Child Protection Training
- Be knowledgeable about regulations, the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Early Childhood Teacher position.
