Dripstone Children's Centre is a non-for-profit community run exceeding service, with exceptional grounds based in the Northern suburbs of Brinkin, upon Larrakia Land.

• We are a centre that promotes outdoor in all weather, learning with and from the environment and doing our part in Walking Lightly on the Land. We embrace the Gulumoerrgin Seasonal Calendar and take cues from the land to lead the curriculum
• We champion a strength-based approach with our team, giving all members the opportunity to hone in on their extensive knowledge, values and skills. Our families and community have an immense involvement in decision making that inspire our service to go above and beyond the traditional childcare experience
• With our holistic approach to the Early Childhood setting, we are leading the sector in innovation, creating an empowered community and advocating for children’s childhoods.

Essential Criteria :

• Hold an approved Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA assessed equivalent or working towards  
• Work experience: Program Leader or Room Leader experience highly favorable
• Have a sound understanding of the NQF including practical implementation of the NQS, EYLF and evidence based best practice
• Passionate about nature-play pedagogy and committed to ongoing professional learning and development
• Adept at creating strong, trusting relationships with all stakeholders
• Approachable and effective in providing professional guidance to colleagues in relation to educational outcomes and pedagogy
• In possession of a Northern Territory Working With Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
• Obtain a current National Police Check
• Provide first aid in a childcare setting (HLTAID012) or willing to obtain
• Availability to work between 6:45am and 5:45pm.
