• We are a centre that promotes outdoor in all weather, learning with and from the environment and doing our part in Walking Lightly on the Land. We embrace the Gulumoerrgin Seasonal Calendar and take cues from the land to lead the curriculum.

Our families and community have an immense involvement in decision making that inspire our service to go above and beyond the traditional childcare experience.
• With our holistic approach to the Early Childhood setting, we are leading the sector in innovation, creating an empowered community and advocating for children’s childhoods.
• We are currently seeking two passionate & dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team on a full-time basis. The suitable candidates will be required to live and work in the Northern Territory; this is not a FIFO position.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver educational activities and programs for children in accordance with the curriculum and developmental goals
• Support children’s learning through play-based activities, hands-on experiences and group interactions
• Ensure the safety, health and well-being of all children within the learning environment
• Work collaboratively with other educators, staff and management to ensure the highest quality of care and education
• Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Communicate effectively with parents about children’s progress and any immediate concerns
• Adhere to all regulatory and policy requirements, including safeguarding children and maintaining confidentiality.

Skills and Experience : 

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or Certificate IV)
• At least two (2) years in an early childhood education setting
• Current Working with Children Check (or relevant child protection clearance)
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
• Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to various age groups and environments.

Remuneration: $33–$40 per hour depending on experience (based on a 38-hour work week) + superannuation.
