In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the growth and well-being of children through engaging activities and hands-on care. As a valued team member, you will help create a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment where children can flourish.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and provide quality care for children in a nurturing environment
• Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized space for children
• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
• Assist children with their daily routines, including eating, dressing, and toileting, while promoting independence
• Supervise hygiene practices, including diaper changes and toilet training, ensuring the health and safety of children
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and team members
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and policies
• Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for children’s education and recreational activities
• Manage children’s behaviour and guide their social development.

Prepare and conduct activities for children, entertain them by reading and playing games, and supervise recreational activities.

About You :

To thrive in this role, you will :

• Have a genuine passion for working with children and a strong commitment to their well-being and development
• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification
• Have relevant experience of minimum 2 years
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues
• Demonstrate creativity, patience, and a nurturing approach to childcare
• Hold First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in another community language will be highly appreciated.
