Wendy’s Kensington House, part of the respected Bower Education Group, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Worker / Educator to join our nurturing early childhood team. We are committed to providing high-quality education, a warm environment, and developmental support for children from infancy to preschool age.
As an Educator at Wendy’s Kensington House, you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and encouraged to grow. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic team and support the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) through meaningful, play-based learning experiences.

Task and responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in daily educational programs and activities
- Support children’s emotional, physical, and developmental needs
- Assist in planning, documenting, and evaluating learning experiences
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and organised environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Follow centre policies, procedures, and national quality standards
- Contribute to observations, reports, and developmental assessments
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and centre initiatives.
Desirable
- Experience working in a long day care environment
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012)
- Familiarity with planning and documentation apps/software (e.g., Xplor, Storypark).
Qualification and experience
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121 or equivalent)
- Minimum 12 months work experience in a Child Care / Early Childhood Education role
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to children’s safety, wellbeing, and learning
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or ability to obtain
- Full-time work rights in Australia.
