Early Childhood Educator
HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a leading client to recruit casual/ad-hoc Childcare and OSHC Educators across inner Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity for educators seeking flexible shifts that fit around study, other work, or personal commitments.
Roles Available :
- Certificate III Educator
- Diploma Trained Educator
- Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistant
Locations :
- OSHC Centres: Redfern, The Rocks, Surry Hills, Ultimo, Woolloomooloo
- Early Childhood & Preschool Centres: Glebe, Redfern, Alexandria,Pyrmont
About the Roles :
As a casual educator, you will:
- Provide high-quality, responsive care for children aged 0-12
- Support daily routines and developmental milestones
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning and recreational activities
- Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- In this role, you'll join our on-call casual educator roster, providing support as needed
Shift Times :
- 6:30am - 2:30pm | 9am - 5pm | 10am - 6pm
- OSHC roles may include split shifts (Before & After School)
Essential Requirements :
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (depending on role)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Police Check
- Food Handling Certificate
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
OSHC Assistants :
- Experience or passion for working with school-aged children
- WWCC + Police Check + Food Handling Certificate
- First Aid desirable
