About the role
We are looking for a full-time Coordinator to start in January 2025 to run our well established OSHC program. Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of St Martins Davidson Primary School and is open from 7:00am to 9am in the mornings and from 3:00pm to 6pm in the afternoons Monday to Friday during term time. During school holidays and Pupil free days the service runs a Vacation Care program from 7:30am- 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
This is as a Permanent Full-time position
Duties
- Engaging, implementing, and evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework.
- Understanding the requirements of being the Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Ensuring compliance to the National Quality Standards and the Regulations.
- Building ongoing positive relationships with the schools, families, and employees.
- Working on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service.
Requirements
- Working with Children Check.
- Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis or willingness to obtain
Highly Desirable
- Qualifications- Diploma or Cert IV in OSHC.
- Experience in working in outside school hours care.
- Skills and experience in team leadership.
- Knowledge of regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework – My Time Our Place, as it applies to Outside School Hours Care.
