About the role 
We are looking for a Child Care Educator who can or is wanting to step up into the position of Responsible Person when required.  Our Woy Woy OSHC also caters for Vacation Care for all primary school children.  We have several different programs offering a variety of activities to support a child’s interest and social development.

Permanent Part time position working 12 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30pm to 6:30pm with the potential to work additional hours as required.
  
Duties 

  • Understanding and use the My Time, Our Place Framework.
  • Taking on the position of the responsible person when required.
  • Assisting the Coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate the program.
  • Ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment, reflective of the regulatory requirements and in line with policies and procedures.
  • Developing a positive and supportive relationships with children and families.
  • Creating a collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues.   

Requirements 

  • Previous experience working with young / school aged children.
  • Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance.
  • Current first aid certificate.
  • As the Responsible Person role, you must have completed ‘Identify and report children and young people at risk.
