A beautiful, medium-sized long day care centre located in the suburb of Wamberal on the Central Coast is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join their wonderful team in the 2-3 year room. This family-owned centre fosters a nurturing and home-like environment whilst focusing on building meaningful connections and providing positive learning experiences for each individual child, and their family. With purpose-built facilities and a dedicated team, this centre provides care for children aged 0 - 5 years across five rooms. Operating between the hours of 7am - 6pm, located close to public transport routes and access to a private car park, this centre offers wonderful outdoor and indoor learning environments that encourage children to explore and form connections whilst ensuring a strong sense of belonging, and self-identity is formed in the Early Years stage.
 

The Role

  • Permanent full-time position (38 hours pw - flexibility around this if desired) in the 2-3 year age group
  • Play a vital role in children's learning by working with educators to provide a thorough educational program incorporating children's interests, strengths and needs
  • Contribute to the centre's overall development and success in-line with the NQF
  • Generate and deliver rich learning experiences whilst incorporating the connections established with the local primary school and wider community
  • Form meaning relationships with parents, children and the educational team in a welcoming, inclusive environment

About You

  • An Early Childhood Education Degree or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification or actively working towards
  • NESA teachers' registration
  • A current Working with Children's Check
  • Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
