Simply Sunshine is a community based not-for-profit organisation located in the town of Moranbah just a few short hours from the vast and beautiful coastline of Queensland. Our service provides care for 124 children per day in both our long day care, and standalone kindergarten.

We are looking for Bachelor qualified early childhood teachers who are passionate about providing quality education and care for children birth to 6 years of age. The successful applicants would also be required to support the Director and management team with the day to day running of the service therefore; if you are an early childhood teacher looking for career progression, this may be the very role to support your career goals.

We provide high quality care and education through a well-resourced and newly refurbished environment inspired by nature, and outdoor learning. A place where children and educators alike can explore, develop, and grow through play.

Our ideal candidate will benefit from possessing the following attributes: Strong knowledge of the QKLG,EYLF and the NQS to support the team through an Educational Leader capacity as part of the role. Experience mentoring and supporting educators to provide high quality programs. Respect for the capability of children and their interests to learn through their own view of the world. The ability to build relationships with children and families built on trust and respect. Be a team player that supports the professional and personal growth of others. Ability's and experience to support our Centre Director in the day to day running of the service.

A salary range of $56 000 - $70 000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification)

Essential Criteria: Bachelor of Early Childhood or an ACECQA approved equivalent Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates Valid working with children’s check Passion for children and early childhood
